Etheral strands of sunlight pierce the darkened clouds. The light is captured by the falling mist, causing the backdrop of mountains to glow. Incredibly light blue skies are turned almost to violet by clouds which efficiently conquer the sky as far as the eye can see. Occasional streaks of lightning flash across the skies. The rain falling from the dark clouds is softly shaken to the earth by the gently roaring thunder in the distance. Glass-like puddles are disturbed only by the pitter-patter of raindrops. The Storm

The blackness of the night sky is cut jaggedly by white streaks of lightning. Everything is shaken by the ominous thunder, which booms loudly. Rain seems tame, compared to the bright lightning and the earth shaking thunder. It streams steadily down, all around you. Soft drops drip off of pine needles and leaves. Oh, hello there!

Wow, talk about neglect... I finally came back to DA. :) I haven't been writing for years but feel like I need to again. Life has held changes in the last number of years like it does for everyone. It's a bit odd looking around here at some of the things that are so old and wondering how well this will all fit me now, if that makes sense. We shall see what time brings. :) Take care, everyone.

I haven't been around DA much. Sorry about that... I have let other things take up my time recently, but I am aware that writing is good for me. I should be doing it regularly ... it's just difficult to discipline myself that way. I tend to listen to myself when it pleases me, not when I know I should. Annoying -- but one of my habits nonetheless. At any rate, I am finally posting something new. Check it out and leave a comment. :) Take care everyone. =) -Star.

People are interesting creatures. Why anyone would POST something on the NET and then get upset when other people view it, I have no idea. If you don't want people reading stuff, don't post it. DUH. :) Life is still busy, despite not working. I'm working through some struggles with my demons, and will most likely end up posting something soon. I hope you are all well. :) ~Star.
